I carried her a bit, corralled her a bit, pushed her a bit...but she wasn't dead last. And for her efforts she received a big smile, a plastic finisher medal, and a superhero cape. She was definitely my hero this morning!

Happy Father's Day!
Incredibly happy father's day for me this year, watching (and helping) my 16-month-old toddler run a hundred yards in the kids dash of the ZERO Prostrate Cancer event. She was rocking a pair of pink Saucony shoes and my FuelBelt race belt cinched all the way up.
I carried her a bit, corralled her a bit, pushed her a bit...but she wasn't dead last. And for her efforts she received a big smile, a plastic finisher medal, and a superhero cape. She was definitely my hero this morning!
