Wow, was quite surprised to get the February issue of Backpacker magazine and realize how many of their top hikes and top parks I've checked off the outdoors bucket list.
- Page 8: Bryce Canyon NP. Hit it as part of my June 2012 West Trek.
- Page 9: Vermillion Cliffs. June 2012.
- Page 12: Ribbon Falls. June 2012.
- Page 13: Matterhorn from Riffelsee. Was actually at Matterhorn at a very young ago and don't remember much. Really need to get back over to do some hiking in Europe, but too busy heading over every winter for skiing.
- Page 19: Haleakala NP. Visited and rode horses into the craters with my lovely wife on our honeymoon.
- Page 26: New Hampshire White Mountains. Tackled in 2011 as part of an 11-peak conquest of the northeast.
